Children's Museum to host birthday party for Superman

The Children's Museum of Houston is celebrating Superman’s birthday with half-price admission from now through June 30.
To celebrate Superman's June 30, 1938, debut in Action Comics, the Children's Museum will offer 50 percent off regular admission price to those who come to the museum dressed as their favorite super hero from now through June 30.
A birthday bash is also scheduled. This June 30 celebration includes a "Happy Birthday" dance party from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., a Super Obstacle Course Challenge from 2 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. and a Superman meet-and-greet from 2:30 until 4 p.m.
Cost for admission without the discount is $8 per person, or $7 for seniors and military personnel. The museum is open Mondays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. It is located at 1500 Binz.
