Three Brothers Bakery recently presented a check in the amount of $1,005.92 to the Holocaust Museum Houston.
The donation was raised from the sales of all Jewish rye bread sold at the bakery to help commemorate the Days of Remembrance from May 6 through May 8.
We are so proud to support the work being done by Holocaust Museum Houston as it serves all Houstonians, said Robert Jucker, co-owner of Three Bros. Bakery. We plan to make this promotion an annual part of our giving back to the community in which we live and work. The Museums mission of educating the community about the dangers of hatred, prejudice and apathy continues to be critical to future generations.
Jucker, along with his father, Sigmund Jucker, presented the check to Tamara Savage and Marci Dallas, representatives of the museum.
Holocaust Museum Houston is dedicated to educating people about the Holocaust, remembering the six million Jews and other innocent victims and honoring the survivors legacy.
