Children's Museum to hold 'Mommy Mingle Wednesdays' in September, October
The Children's Museum of Houston is holding a special event for mothers from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesdays.
The event will give mothers a chance to interact with each other over free coffee and breakfast. Moms can also bring young children who are not in school to Tot*Spot, where they can play with one another and work on activities to take home. Mothers who join can take part in a photo contest to win prizes by uploading a picture to the CMH Facebook wall.
The event is not restricted to mothers; fathers, nannies and other care takers are also welcome to take part in the event.
"Mommy Mingle Wednesdays" are planned through Oct. 26 at the museum, located at 1500 Binz. Admission to the event is free with admission to the museum: $8 per person, $7 for seniors.
