West University Place Police Department blotter, Sept. 26
The West University Place Police Department reported the following incidents for the week ending Sept. 23:
THEFT
Sept. 16, 4:35 p.m.: A suspect lied to a victim to gain entrance into a home in the 2800 block of Quenby and then reportedly stole the victim’s personal property.
Sept. 20, 1:42 p.m.: Police recovered a stolen truck, which was left parked and running in the 2600 block of Centenary.
Sept. 21, 11:21 a.m.: A security alarm alerted police to the unauthorized entry of a residence located in the 2700 block of Carolina Way. No items were stolen from the home.
