Houston Early Music season kicks off Sunday at Christ the King
Houston Early Music will kick off its 2011-2012 season with 18th-century German Revival on Sunday at Christ the King.
The concert, titled "Passionate Enemies," will be performed by La Donna Musicale, a Boston-based musical organization, featuring 18th-century music composed by women of two rival German courts: Frederic the Great and the House of Hapsburg.
A pre-show talk is scheduled to begin at 4:15 p.m, and the concert starts at 5 p.m. Christ the King Evangelical Lutheran Church is located at 2353 Rice Blvd.
