Weekly sales roundup for Greenway/Upper Kirby, week ending Sept. 16

There were four sales in Greenway/Upper Kirby for the week ending Sept. 16, according to Blockshopper.com.

One notable transaction in the area was the sale of 2244 Sul Ross St. Richard E. Frye and Cara McCormack sold the home to Esperanza Ochoa on Sunday, Sept. 16. The 3,088-square-foot, three bedroom, three bath home was built in 1980 and is located in the Alabama Place subdivision.

Other transactions include the sale of 2712 Essex Terrace to David Alan Love and the sale of 2929 Buffalo Speedway, Unit 912 to Carlys K. Swenn.

Sales volume was 300 percent higher than the previous week and 100 percent higher than the same week in 2011. Greenway/Upper Kirby has averaged three sales per week during the last 12 months.
