Weekly sales roundup for Meyerland, week ending Sept. 16

There were eight sales in Meyerland for the week ending Sept. 16, according to Blockshopper.com.

One notable transaction in the area was the sale of 5006 Imogene St. Dorian L. Bass, Dorian Taibel and Jason G. Taibel sold the home to Leigh Ann Ellis on Sunday, Sept. 16. The 2,121-square-foot, three bedroom, two bath home was built in 1958 and is located in the Meyerland subdivision.

Other transactions include the sale of 8714 Prichett Drive to James M. and Ronit Levy Mele and the sale of 5830 Braesheather Drive to Jeremy E. and Margarita Olivero Golden.

Sales volume was 166 percent higher than the previous week and 100 percent higher than the same week in 2011. Meyerland has averaged seven sales per week during the last 12 months.
