National Parent Involvement Day scheduled for Nov. 15
Swim mom Debbie Phelps joins CASE on Nov. 15 for National Parental Involvement Day.
National Parent Involvement Day, sponsored by the Cooperative for After-School Enrichment, will be held Thursday, Nov. 15 at Houston Garden Center in Houston.
The event will run from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Keynote speaker Debbie Phelps, mother of Olympian Michael Phelps, will share her success story as a single mother of three. Joining Phelps in a question-and-answer panel session are Aldine Superintendent Wanda Bamberg, Frost Bank Vice President of Community Development Joyce Tyler-Williams and Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Laura G. Murillo.
Tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for students.
Houston Garden Center is at 1500 Hermann Circle Drive, Houston.
