TXU Energy to match Houston Zoo Gift of Grub donations
TXU Energy officials announced the company will match donations up to $50,000 made to the Houston Zoo's Gift of Grub fundraiser.
The holiday fundraiser helps the zoo feed its 6,000 animals, which dine on thousands of pounds of fish, meat, fruit, vegetables and insects each year, according to a press release.
Gift of Grub donations can be made online before Monday, Dec. 3 by visiting www.houstonzoo.org/grub.
The Houston Zoo is located at 6200 Hermann Park Drive, Houston.
