TSU student wins $10K scholarship

Nerissa Perkins, an MBA student at Texas Southern University, recently received a $10,000 Texas Business Hall of Fame Scholarship Award.

Nerissa Perkins, an MBA student at Texas Southern University, recently received a $10,000 Texas Business Hall of Fame Scholarship Award.

Perkins received the scholarship at the TBHF's 30th annual scholarship luncheon. The TBHF awards scholarships each year to one promising business student from each participating Texas university.

According to a press release, the Texas Business Hall of Fame gives scholarships annually to students from participating Texas universities. Only one student from each university is selected.
