Texas Children's Hospital launches gift catalog
Texas Children's Hospital has launched its first crowd-funded hospital gift catalog to give individuals the chance to help purchase medical equipment needed by the hospital.
Gifts that can be purchased range from wheelchairs to comfort toys, and donors will receive updates on how their gift is being used. Individuals can also organize their own campaigns to raise money for big items.
Both methods of giving are through the crowd-funding platform www.givemiracles.org.
Texas Children's Hospital is working with Fundly and the Children's Miracle Network to create the program.
The hospital is located at 6720 Bertner Ave., Houston.
