Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony scheduled for Dec. 3
The 24th annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held Monday, Dec. 3 at the Community Building in Houston.
The event will start at 5:30 p.m.
According to a press release from West University Place Parks and Recreation Department, "Start the evening off with delicious hot drinks and sweets that you and your kids will enjoy. After enjoying snacks and crafts, make your way over to meet and greet our local firefighters and police officers. At 6 p.m. make your way to the courtyard at the Community Building to meet one of Santa’s reindeer and at 6:30 p.m., we will commence our Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony."
Street parking will be available.
The Community Building is located at 6104 Auden St., Houston.
