Individual arrested for failure to report an accident in West U
An individual was arrested by the West University Police Department at 6:20 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20 in the 6400 block of Kirby Drive in West University Place.
The individual was charged with one count of accident/failure to stop and give information.
According to the West University Police Department, "An officer was dispatched in reference to an accident and discovered that the vehicle had struck a light pole and the airbag had been deployed, but the vehicle was unoccupied. Later during the course of the investigation, officers discovered who the driver was. The driver was later arrested."
