Greater Houston Partnership plans State of the State event
Texas Gov. Rick Perry will be speaking at the State of the State event, including a networking cafe period from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and a luncheon from noon-1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31 at Hilton Americas.
Perry will be discussing the health and well-being of the state of Texas.
Perry is the longest tenured governor in the United States. He is also the only Texas governor since World War II to sign budgets that reduced general revenue spending. Maintaining a focus on fiscal discipline, Perry plans to cut more than $3 billion in budgeted spending, while encouraging investments in the state's economy, education and security.
Individual member tickets to the State of the State event are $65. Nonmember tickets are $90. Member tables of 10 cost $750. Nonmember tables of 10 cost $900.
