Planning underway for complying with U.S. Export Controls seminar
The Bureau of Industry and Security, in collaboration with the Houston District Export Council, will host a two-day seminar about Export Administration Regulations this January.
According to the council's website, the seminar will provide information on what products and activities are subject to these regulations, how to determine an export control classification number, export clearance procedures and how to go about record keeping.
BIS professionals and numerous specialists from U.S. government agencies will be on hand during the event.
The seminar will take place from 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 and Wednesday, Jan. 30 in the Houston Galleria Area at Hotel Derek, 2525 W. Loop Freeway S., Houston.
The cost to attend is $450 per person.
