Weekly sales roundup for Meyerland, week of Dec. 2

There were three sales in Meyerland for the week ending Dec. 2, according to Blockshopper.com.

One notable transaction in the area was the sale of 5527 Dumfries Drive. Dorothy Graham Jones sold the home to Tz Ventures Ltd on Friday, Nov. 30. The 2,188-square-foot, three-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath home was built in 1962 and is located in the Marilyn Estates subdivision.

Other transactions include the sale of 5003 Darnell St. to Kimberly A. Nettleton and the sale of 6203 Rutherglenn Drive to Paul C. Carriere.

Sales volume was 40 percent lower than the previous week and 66.6 percent lower than the same week in 2011. Meyerland has averaged seven sales per week during the last 12 months.
